Sydney Hoist & Scaffolding Pty Ltd entered the Hoist market by way of the family garage in 1989 where we built our first hoist.

Since then, the company has grown and now operates over 200 builder material and personnel hoists, ranging in size from a single barrow material hoist to a 3 ton personnel hoist.

The scaffolding side of the business was established in 1995, due in part to many comments we received from our customers, about wishing they could find a scaffolding company that could provide the same level of service as we provide in the hoist market!

We started initially providing barrier systems to brick layers (catch scaffold) and then moved into the modular scaffolding market. We now have over 200,000 square meters of scaffolding fully serviced and maintained out of a 15,000 square meter facility.

The scope of our expertise varies from small simple jobs such as houses to complex multi story building involving needles, spurs, etc. Some of our larger customers include Dyldam Developments Pty Ltd which has been with us from our inception and Dasco Australia Pty Ltd with us now for over 17 years.

The company is family owned and run, supplying its own labour, transport and scaffolding. We have up to 50 employees readily available and access to more via our sub-contract companies formed by our former employees, with our assistance.

Our fleet consists of 10 trucks which have truck mounted cranes that can reach up to 15m and 2 prime movers with a rear mounted forklift (moffet).

With all this behind us, we are confident that we can provide a service that is second to none.
